“I am the same in the arts as I am with life and learning, inquisitive and driven. My professional art training has been gained through four educational achievements. Primarily, I created my work in a self-directed manner whilst attending school within GCSE and A Level. However, it was when I took the step towards a professional career in 2002, following my teenage ‘pipe-dream’ to study a degree in the arts. I decided to firstly study an Art and Design Access Diploma and then study an Art and Media Bachelor of Arts with honours. It was during my degree that I specialized, both practically and academically, in Fine Art and Photography. I have not looked back since and my professional artist career has been a deeply satisfying journey, with my work steadily increasing in desirability for collectors.
The 'Landscape Moods Collection’ of mixed media paintings have progressively explored abstraction, colour and texture since their origin in 2002. These artworks reflect my desire to be constantly evolving, in order to progress my work and explore my imagination. These collections draw inspiration from a number of sources, including patterns, shapes and colours found within the four different elements: earth, water, wind and fire. Bright colours and fluorescent neon paints will express energy and vibrance. As with all my work, the key components are emotions and mood at the time of creation, maintaining a fluidity of ideas and a freedom of exploration. My art is a reflection of me always has been a deep love and is something that is a part of who I am, my identity.”
